H&T Recharge invested €13million into the new Center of Excellence for the rechargeable battery market, which is located at our facility in Marsberg, Germany. Due to the increasing demand for the development of cylindrical battery cans and tighter time-to-market for electromobility, the new Center of Excellence functions as a starting point for your global mass production of Lithium-ion battery cells. It allows H&T Recharge to provide sample production capabilities and shorter lead times for your developments.

Expert in-house tool and press development enabling independency and flexibility: Our business unit H&T Tool Design designs and develops customized tooling and H&T ProduktionsTechnologie specializes in the design and build of custom-made presses in-house. This gives us the unique possibility to customize our equipment to your requirements, while securing availability of these crucial manufacturing parts in early development stages.

In the Center of Excellence, we have the ability to produce pre-series production volumes in parallel to building up customer dedicated equipment scalable to your global industrialization project.

In-house design and production of precision tools to the highest of standards throughout product life cycles. Tool shop equipped with state of the art machinery to manufacture complex 3D geometries made out of high performance materials, securing the availability of spare parts

Vast experience in deep drawing, maximizing material utilization. Our cupping process forms blank and cup in just one stroke

Our in-house multi-tool transfer presses are deep drawing, ironing and trimming cans

Can Cleaning

Established inline washing process ensuring a high level of can cleanliness on micron particle level

Offering fully automated oriented can cleaning for any requested can volumes (bulk handling also possible if requested). Based on your specifications, individual processes can be developed

Quality Inspection

Integrating fully automated 100% visual quality inspections for any can size, using intelligent vision inspection cameras. Our customization approach allows us to modify or add extra inspection checks should you require them

Marking and individualization usually take place once a can has been filled or at the assembly stage of production – we provide a bespoke service by introducing can individualization at the start of production

H&T Recharge has facilities in Germany and the USA and produces 2 billion battery cans per yer. Based on volumes and customer requirements, production space can be added at existing facilities or as a full Greenfield operation next to or within our customer’s plant.
