10 quizzes (40%), 1 final (20%), and DB's (40%). Write down every single word from the lectures. That is the only way you can get an A. Class was not hard, just annoying since every point matters. The bonus DB was 10 points, so 1% of your grade. The final is very similar to the quizzes. Study those and your notes. No curves follow directions! EZ A.

I enjoyed this class and the format. The professor makes it clear what you need to do and as long as you pay attention during the lectures/readings, you will learn a lot and do well!

There is a quiz, activity/discussion post, replying to classmates every week. The questions on the quizzes are not from the textbook or the lecture, random and very difficult. I have never felt this stressed about an online class. The lectures are youtube videos. The quizzes are on lockdown browser and timed 20 min for 20 questions. Don't recommend

I absolutly enjoyed every aspect of this class. She goes into details in every lecture, and she makes it easy to understand. She gets back to you right away if you have any questions. I would take her again if I could.

So good! Loved the class! One to two discussions per week, five quizzes, and one final. The discussion board is easy because it asks about your work life/yourself, but you have to respond to two people each week per discussion board. For quizzes and final- write down every lecture slide and read the textbook (1 or 2 chapters/week- not too lengthy).

Com 3077 is probably one of the best online classes I've taken. The Professor has great lectures and the discussion boards are so easy and interesting. This class is not challenging, listen to the lectures before you take the quiz and you'll do great.

She will mass email the class or make an example out of you if you ask on grading. Many quizzes (random questions so beware) could be something she gave an opinion on during her videos. Videos include her personal opinions. First B+ I received in years coming from a straight A student. Avoid emailing her unless you must. Little to no feedback

Professor Dunn is alright. One or two discussion posts due every week. Her quizzes are from the book and lectures. The manager interview final paper was okay. I did get an average grade on that paper but overall got a B. It's an online course so take her. She's not that bad.

If you enjoy taking a professor who grades however they feel on a project worth a huge chunk of your grade while providing zero feedback then this is the perfect professor. Do you also enjoy subjective material where youre quizzed on the professors opinion? Prepare to spend alot of time watching boring videos just to answer random quiz questions

Quite possibly one of the most ANNOYING professors Ive ever encountered. Every time you think something will be straight forward she adds an extra step that makes it TEN TIMES HARDER THAN IT NEEDS TO BE. The interview with a manager project is disgustingly annoying.

Professor Dunn is one of my favorite professors at Baruch! She's so kind, relatable, and sometimes funny in her lectures. Every week, we had to watch the lecture video, read the chapter, and respond to a few discussion posts (which were overall easy). At the end, you do a mini-research project. There were 5 quizzes to do. I really liked the topics!

Requirement and grading were so clear from the start. Asynchronous weekly lectures and discussion board assignments, in addition to occasional quizzes and a paper due at the end of the term. Super solid class and a lot of what you learn is actually pretty applicable to real life relationships. Definitely recommend.

The best online class! She won't make you read: instead, you'll watch about 50 mins of lecture videos every week, and then write a post. 5 quizes (easy). The midterm and final are same Qs as quizes. Final project: interview with a manager is lot of work - start early in semester! You'll survive without the textbook.

Best professor! clearly communicates all assignments, what to do, when/how to do it. Her layout is 100% impeccable. Its a decent amount of work but its all very easy to accomplish and super interesting! Just time-consuming. LOVE THIS CLASS and KAREN. I don't understand why she has anything less than a 5.0

Thought the paper and blackboard posts were graded strictly. Blackboard posts every week. You can do all the blackboard posts but still not get a full score on it. 8-10 pages thought paper or video project, occasional quizzes.

Great online course. Took it over the winter semester and enjoyed it immensely. I learnt a lot and really enjoyed the course. It's an online course and requires discipline. However, if you put in your work you'll do fine.
